Article of the Week (Flamin' Hot Cheetos)
I do not believe that it is in the local, state's, or school's power to confiscate what children are allowed to eat. The parents are the only ones who can control what their child eats due to the fact that the parents are the legal guardians of their own children. If the authorities confiscate what the children want to eat, then the children will feel as if they are being overpowered or controlled too much. This also teaches kids the responsibility on what type of foods they should eat. The kids will eventually learn what is good or bad for them. If the kids are not allowed to have the snacks they want at a young age, then they will rebel when they are older, and will not have the common sense to determine what they are supposed to eat. The authorities should be able to limit the amount of cheetos that are being consumed, but they should not completely ban or confiscate Flamin' Hot Cheetos.
