Dropping the Ball
1.Gravity caused the ball to fall and the air from the hair dryer pushed up on the ball
2.The forces are balanced at 180 degrees and not balanced at 90 degrees.
3. The object will stay moving at a constant speed or rate
4. The speed or rate will not remain constant

Unbalanced and Balanced Forces
- Unbalanced forces make objects speed up, slow down, or change direction
- Balanced forces will not bee moving or will be moving with a speed that is not changing.
Around and Around
Analysis
- The marble is traveling at a constant rate, therefore allowing it to be balanced on the lip of the plate. If one section is removed then the force will change and the force will be unbalanced.
Analysis
- The plate is pushing up on the marble which is helping it keep at a constant rate.
- All our planets are rotating around the sun at a constant rate. Gravity keeps the planets in space.
- This models the moon's movement because the earth's gravity is giving a constant force. The moon is also revolving at a constant rate.
