What causes ocean climate change?

Ocean Runoff- the polluted land water that flows from land to water and could carry contamination.
gets into the dirt and water runs it off
silt and soil also cause it because it runs off into the ocean
runoff picks up things on the road such as pesticides. fertilizer can increase the growth of phytoplankton and algae
affects land animals and ocean animals because they can be harmed. humans can also be affected by runoff because they can be contaminated
when we build factories we increase ocean runoff and we help cause runoff and clean
Dead-Zones- a place with little oxygen
no-oxygen regions because of lots of decomposition and the oxygen probably never comes back
pollution with nitrogen rich components or substances (fertilizer). marine life is affected because they cant survive where there is little oxygen. this can affect us because there is little food. humans can speed up or start the process of turning an oceanic ecosystem into a dead-zone.
Waste Disposal- it is basically waste disposal in the ocean such as trash and human waste. we cause it because we are dumping it out in the ocean. it affects all marine life because it's living in things that we don't want around us. Cruise ships are HUGE factors of waste disposal. we cause it.
Oil Spills- are accidental or natural spillage of oil. natural because sometimes the ocean floor seeps oil. oil tankers going through the sea might spill little oil or an explosion on an oil rig may cause it. affects all marine life in the area or land birds. birds because when they eat the fish, they get covered in oil. humans can cause this because we are drilling for oil or spilling oil in the ocean.
Overfishing- serious problem because not just the fish get affected but dolphins and other predators get affected. overfishing is fishing too much. limit was set at 12900 tons per year. most of the fish was tuna. the blue fin tuna is most endangered. dolphins are next. escape hatches have been put into nets so that they can escape. fish can also escape. one technique is having a rope with hooks on it. the cause is people fishing a lot. people want to fish a lot because protein is good for us and helps us grow.
Artificial Reefs- reefs that were made over time by humans and dumping things. Humans cause it. Marine animals get a place to live and we get a place to live. We are the ones that fish the fish and place the habitat in the ocean.
Oceans give us food and entertainment. We need these things to survive and when we take too much, we lose important things we need. We get precious metals from oceans. We need the ocean for many things.
